Beginning as a deck hand right out of high school, he worked his way up to tanker man, pilot, port captain and operations manager. In 1992, he acquired his first fleet of three tugs and seven barges.
Combining his skills and firsthand knowledge of the marine transportation industry, Dennis envisioned a company that would be privately-owned and family-run.
A company built on safety and efficiency, on speed and precision.
And, a company that would treat their people right.
And despite its size and strength, Dennis the old deck hand continues to oversee every aspect of the business.
